First glance of the capital of Australia, Canberra.

Finally I’m safe and sound in Australia. I didnt want to meet too many Asian people or live in a busy city so Canberra was my final decision. As the capital of Australia, the city is very small and considered a town rather than “capital territory”. Starting a new life here was quite challenging at first, but I finally managed to settle down and make some nice friends. At the moment, I polish my skills by studying Professional writing/Public Relations in a Uni here. At the weekends we (me and my awesome flatmates) head to some bars having a few beers. The thing I enjoy the most is that there are so many events funded by the Government, that’s why it’s free (of course) and very interesting. This is what Canberra offers me so far…
In general I have had a couple of good times here. Even though people keep moaning how boring this city is, I find it peaceful and pretty welcoming. Racism, which is Australian Gov’s fear, is strictly forbidden here – That’s why I enjoy the friendly environment in both studying and socializing.
